Maraschino cherry wet cake filled with buttercream with almonds, entirely covered with almond paste. Baked briefly to retain as much of its natural moisture as possible, this cake will keep for a long time and is reserved for discerning tastings with liqueur and convivial accompaniments. Tasting in small doses is the advice to perceive the combination of almond with all the other flavors better and better. To enjoy it while best perceiving its qualities: warm it 5 minutes in an unlit oven preheated to 100°.
